Most
recently, Purina selected our German Shorthaired Pointers for their
advertising campaign.
We attended a full day photo shoot from which Wildwing was chosen for the Senior bag of food,
Soho was chosen for the Adult bag of food and Riley was chosen for the Puppy formula of food.
The dogs are closely related such that it appears the puppy has grown up through adult and finally
to senior level of food requirement. In fact, Riley is the grandson of Wildwing and Soho is Wildwing's son.
Our dogs can be found on the new Purina Pro Plan Selects dog food bags wherever most dog food is sold.
Advertisements can be found in a variety of magazines including Dogs In Canada, Readers Digest,
and Dogs USA. We are honoured and thrilled to be involved in this promotion and ever thankful to
Purina for considering our dogs to represent them.
Owners constantly are taking pictures of their dogs doing all types of events from hunting to
just playing at the lake. It is wonderful when they are so proud of the results and their dog that
they send us a glimpse of that special moment they shared. One such picture (left) truly shows the
agility and energy level of a GSP. Luckily, I was not the only person who was impressed with this action
photo. The German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America chose this photo for their 2009 calendar issue,
month of December. This is Fogelhund's second Shorthair to be a calendar girl! Megan was featured in
Purina's 2000 Millennium calendar. Keep those photos coming!
One of our proud GSP owners (actually has two Fogelhund family members), has started his own Dog/Hunting supply
